While pursuing my Master’s degree, I took on the role of Assistant Producer for a major Netflix production—an intense six months balancing academic work with high-level field production.

Working on the Brazilian side of the story, I:

• Secured access to key contributors, including kidnapper Ronaldo Monteiro and affected family members

• Field produced on location in Rio de Janeiro

• Led all Portuguese-language communication, from early research calls to in-person interviews

• Helped shape the narrative by developing the script ahead of the Brazil shoot, and continued to support editorial through post-production
